Lake of the Ozarks Eagles - Missouri

This cam, showing "Elsie & Einstein", the Lake of the Ozarks Eagles is located in Central Missouri,USA. The cam is an Axis 214 PTZ mounted inside of an upside down 15 gallon aquarium, with small heater and thermometer on a platform 40' off the ground.This setup is right in our back yard and we sometimes have coffee with the eagles, and i usually will keep cam on the birds anywhere in their tree if i'm around. Otherwise it has preset events to check on their favorite limbs during the day.Elsie & Einstein came to our location in august 2009 and built their 1st nest 150' north of their current location. 2009 they hatched 2 eaglets,, which only one survived into the early summer..Important Dates = 1st egg Feb 10th first hatching march 17th, these dates may be a bit earlier than the canadian eagles due to our climate.This year they moved their pad even closer,, about 80' from our back deck. Last year i had this cam on my roof and there were many branches between us and the eagles so i never brodcasted it live. See camera setup under myphotoalbum up the page. "Kinda Hillbilly"
